Praeclara Flamma

Praeclara Flamma (Beautiful Flame) is a collaboration between Irena and her partner, artist Garth Tweedie. It is a series of canvases burned by Garth and painted by Irena. Using a small torch Garth scorches an image on unprimed canvas leaving a sepia coloured charcoal drawing that Irena paints into.
